Ever since I was a kid and I shot a gun for the first time with my dad it was amazing but i felt like I was powerful. As humans we shouldn’t have such a great power over others or against the masses around the world. I can see now over the years how this power effects the world. No compassion is…

I love being weak then. I admit to being cowardly. Bite me.

Ah, a populist.  That’s why I own guns.  If the majority decides they don’t like me, I still have a chance.  And I can defend my life while still holding compassion for others.  Those are not mutually exclusive.

Thank you for actually responding with a great statement unlike the kid above you! Really the main point I was trying to put is that people abuse the powers that guns give them making them cowards. Too many innocent people die daily because cowards hiding behind false power. But atleast your reasoning has justification even if I’m still against gun use for violence. Have a good day!

Why on earth would I ever want to have a reasonable debate with some “guns are for cowards!” asshole

Because sometimes they have more to say and we have more in common with them than you think.  Or we can just make it an “us vs. them” thing and we’ll keep alienating people and pitting them against us.  YMMV.

Thanks for being a respectable person instead of acting like that guy. People like you help change perspectives of people and bring people together. I applaud you sir and wish you a grand day.

Banned from ARMA III RP servers
Admin: Now I can't ban you for firebombing the Kavala police station or taking new spawns hostage, then up the top of the tall building and executing them every five minutes the police don't give you 25k and a hatchback because all of that is technically within the RP boundaries of crime, but you kidnapped a 12 year old police cadet and forced him to call for back up on his actual cell phone IRL, and he called long distance. I'm going to have to take the charges out of the donator funds this time but if you pull that shit again you're banned. You're lucky this is the most fun I've had cleaning up your messes, you're a fucked up sick little puppy, you know that "forty five to seventy goft"?
Me: I also made him email his mom anthropomorphic airplane porn in return for the ability to keep his in game car
Admin: please don't come back to this server again

I agree in some cases violence is justified based in the situation. I guess im just living a pipe dream hoping there will be a time when violence isn’t needed and people can be happy together. But I’m sure none of us will live to see that day if it even comes to happen.

“Years ago I learned a very cool thing about Robin Williams, and I couldn’t watch a movie of his afterward without thinking of it. I never actually booked Robin Williams for an event, but I came close enough that his office sent over his rider. For those outside of the entertainment industry, a rider lists out an artist’s specific personal and technical needs for hosting them for an event, anything from bottled water and their green room to sound and lighting requirements. You can learn a lot about a person from their rider. This is where rocks bands list their requirement for green M&Ms (which is actually a surprisingly smart thing to do). This is also where a famous environmentalist requires a large gas-guzzling private jet to fly to the event city, but then requires an electric or hybrid car to take said environmentalist to the event venue when in view of the public.
When I got Robin Williams’ rider, I was very surprised by what I found. He actually had a requirement that for every single event or film he did, the company hiring him also had to hire a certain number of homeless people and put them to work. I never watched a Robin Williams movie the same way after that. I’m sure that on his own time and with his own money, he was working with these people in need, but he’d also decided to use his clout as an entertainer to make sure that production companies and event planners also learned the value of giving people a chance to work their way back. I wonder how many production companies continued the practice into their next non-Robin Williams project, as well as how many people got a chance at a job and the pride of earning an income, even temporarily, from his actions. He was a great multiplier of his impact. Let’s hope that impact lives on without him. Thanks, Robin Williams- not just for laughs, but also for a cool example.”
